The Michael Jackson Dilemma
Oct 30th, 2007 by Eryk
Guilty or not, the guy’s a creep. You can make all the excuses you want about a bad childhood and having to grow up too fast, but as Shanan put it, “There’s something about him that’s just not right.” But despite that, there’s one fact that can’t be ignored: the guy makes damn good music! I can’t get around it. Every time I hear a Michael Jackson song on the radio, I can’t help but turn it up. Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough; the guy was/is a musical genius!
But here’s the thing, as badly as I want to get on iTunes and download some of his songs, how can I possibly support an artist with this kind of reputation? How can I possibly feel good about putting money into the pockets of a man who likes to privately “entertain” children? It just doesn’t seem right…

You can always think of it this way: You are not supporting him, but the countless people who have worked for him over the years and not gotten paid the poop-load of money they earned. Don’t you think his lawyers deserve their dues for getting him found not-guilty?
He was found not guilty. Yes he is creepy. He had been accused before of molesting a kid and was so humilated by a strip search do you really think he would be stupid enough to actually molest another kid? Did the kid and his parents want a quick get rich fix off of Jackson? Put yourself in his position. You were not there. How would you feel if you had been accused of molesting kids, been found not guilty and people continued to accuse you because of the media reports. Media creates drama as we all know. Maybe he did and maybe he didn’t . What gives you the right to judge by what the media reports? Ever had someone you care about and love be accused of something they didn’t do, they are found guilty and the media continue to assault them? Lets hope it never happened to you or your son when he gets older. As for Jackson being a great artist he is one of the best. If he owes attorneys or others money I’m sure they can put a lien on his Neverland home and cash in that lien. Put the home up for sale and get their money. If Jackson really owned them the money this is what they would do. They are attorneys and know just how to go about doing this.
